• Sue Auclair was a part of the founding, development and branding of two great jazz concert clubs in the Boston area, Scullers Jazz Club and The Starlight Roof, each of which featured nationally known artists and obtained extensive local, national and international publicity under her aegis.

• Having marketed and consulted on bookings at Scullers Jazz Club for more than eleven years and at The Starlight Roof for three years, Auclair has a comprehensive knowledge of the nuts and bolts of how to develop and build a nightclub that features ticketed live concert programming.

• Auclair’s extensive background of one-on-one interactions with literally hundreds of performers as well as with movers and shakers, media and press can provide a wealth of connections to a prospective or current club owner.

• Sue Auclair can also brainstorm exciting cross promotions such as the very successful one she created in the early ‘90s for Scullers Jazz Club and DoubleTree Guest Suites Hotel dubbed “Cookin’ With Jazz.” Hosted by WGBH FM’s Ron Della Chiesa and featuring the cuisine of Special Guest Chef Joyce Della Chiesa, this promotion helped “brand” the concept of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, prior to catching a show at Scullers.
