Sue Auclair has created the annual media blitzes for the JVC Jazz Festival-Newport and the Newport Folk Festival since 1987, as well as for hundreds of concerts, other festivals and events. She has worked with celebrities such as Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, Eartha Kitt, Miles Davis, Yanni, B.B. King, Tito Puente, Pat Metheny, Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin and many, many more.

Orchestrate backstage news conferences and coordinate large numbers of print and radio reporters all within the course of a day. (A memorable one was in 2002, backstage with Bill Cosby at Newport. Over 50 press attended what was likely the funniest press conference ever!)

Create computerized grids for detailed organization of on-site media logistics in order to deliver the maximum media punch!

Obtain taping clearances for TV news footage and photography from celebrity managers

Enhance sponsor support and cross promotions! With long term friendships and relationships with celebrities and their handlers as well as skills at working with those she hasn’t yet met, Auclair negotiates time for autographs at sponsor’s locations (such as a CD sales sponsor) and other “meet & greet” opportunities
